No donations will be accepted after Monday, August 22. We ask that you donate with dignity: items should be clean and gently used. We cannot accept tube TVs, cribs, or car seats.
Volunteers are needed for many positions. We need help knowing how to price items. If you are a thrift shopper, could you help us decide how to price? We would also like to try to sell some things on the local internet sites like Kent Buy Sell and Trade. This could be done from your home if we send you photos. We will need additional help:
- accepting donations during designated hours
- picking up large item donations
- working during the sale (cashier, runners, department aids)
- cleaning up after the sale (including delivering leftover items)
You could also sponsor a designated department alone or with a friend. That includes handling items in that specific department only, organizing, pricing, and helping during the sale, and determining our own volunteer scheduling time.
Last year’s sale was an a tremendous success because so many people offered their time and talents! Please consider how you can be of service and make this year a success as well!
